ARCA Menards Series Preview: Winchester Speedway

The ARCA Menards Series now heads to their second race in just three days, and another track that was added to the revised schedule, Winchester Speedway. The series last raced at the high-banked half-mile in 2017. This will be Selfs first visit to Winchester.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Bristol Motor Speedway

Self and the Sinclair Oil crew look to rebound this week as the series heads to the high-banked Bristol Motor Speedway for 200 laps under the lights. This event will be Self's first at Bristol. Self enters the event 2 points out of first place in the championship standings.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Toledo Speedway

This Saturday the series heads back to Toledo Speedway for the third time this season, this time making up for the cancelled Salem Speedway event. Teams will have 45 minutes of practice before qualifying and taking the green flag at 5:00pm ET. In three prior starts at Toledo, Self has a pole and three top-five finishes, including a fifth and fourth place finish in the doubleheader event just a few weeks ago.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: I-44 Speedway

The series now heads to another track that was added as a replacement on the revised 2020 schedule, the 3/8-mile I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, Missouri. Self has one previous start at I-44 which came in 2013, in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Self won that event.

ACRA Menards Series Preview: World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway

The series now heads back to the ovals with the 1.25-mile Worldwide Technology Raceway at Gateway, just outside of St. Louis, next on the schedule. Self has one previous start at WWT Raceway, in which he qualified on pole and led the most laps before being sidelined early with mechanical issues last year.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Daytona Road Course

The series will now head to its first road course event since 2017. The original 2020 schedule had two road course races planned at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course and Watkins Glen, but both were cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Daytona race replaces Watkins Glen, and will be the first time the series has run on the historic 3.61-mile track. Self, who coaches road racing on a regular basis, will be making his first road course start in the ARCA Menards Series.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Toledo Speedway doubleheader

The ARCA Menards series now heads to Toledo Speedway for back-to-back 200 lap races. Toledo, a track that wasn't on the original 2020 schedule, has replaced Elko and Madison Speedway due to COVID restrictions. Self has one start at the half-mile oval, just last year when he finished fourth-place in an event that was shortened due to rain.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Kansas Speedway

Self and the Venturini Motorsports-backed Sinclair Oil crew now head to the Kansas Speedway for the first of two races at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval on the 2020 schedule. This race has replaced the event that was originally scheduled for Chicagoland Speedway. Self has five total starts at Kansas, with four of those being in the ARCA Menards Series, and one in the NASCAR Xfinity series. In his four career ARCA starts, Self has a win (2017) and four top-fives.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Iowa Speedway

The ARCA Menards Series now heads to Iowa Speedway, a track that Self is certainly familiar with. With 11 total starts between ARCA, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, and NASCAR Xfinity series, Self is credited with two wins, six top-fives, and eight top-10 finishes. Self's first start at the D-shaped track that sits at just less than one mile in length came in 2010. 

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Kentucky Speedway

The ARCA Menards series travels to Kentucky Speedway this weekend for the tours first intermediate-track race of 2020, and first race at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval since 2017. The race replaces the originally scheduled event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Self has one previous start at Kentucky Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity series in 2015.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Lucas Oil Raceway

Self and the No. 25 Sinclair Oil team will now look to their first event at a track under one-mile in length this season at the Indianapolis-based Lucas Oil Raceway. In three starts at LOR, Self has two top-10 and one top-five finishes, with a best result of second in 2017. 

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Pocono Raceway

The Toyota-backed Sinclair Oil crew will now head to the northeast and take on the third superspeedway of the 2020 campaign at Pocono Raceway. Self has three prior starts at Pocono, with two top-five finishes. The ARCA Menards Series weekend schedule will remain consistent with what was used at Talladega, as teams will have a brief, five-minute practice session before lining up to take the green flag for the 80-lap event. The lineup will be determined by 2020 series owner points.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Talladega Superspeedway

After an unscheduled three-month hiatus from racing due to covid-19, the ARCA Menards Series returns this Saturday to the 2.5-mile Talladega Superspeedway. Originally planned for April 24th, the Talladega event will begin the run of a revised schedule for the ARCA Menards Series. Teams will have a limited amount of practice with just 30 minutes on Saturday, and there will be no qualifying. Teams will line up based on 2019 owner points, which will see Self take the green flag from the fifth position. Self has two top-five finishes in two previous starts at Talladega.

ARCA Menards Series Preview: Phoenix Raceway

After nearly a month off, the ARCA Menards Series returns to the track this week at the one-mile Phoenix Raceway, just outside of Phoenix, AZ. Though the track is new to the ARCA Menards Series, Self is no stranger to Phoenix with eight career starts, all in the former NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Self is credited with five top-10s, two top-fives, and a win at Phoenix. His most recent start at the track was in November, 2013.

Michael Self Earns Second-Career Victory at Daytona and Third-Straight for Venturini Motorsports

Michael Self piloted his No. 25 Sinclair Oil, Champion Power Equipment Toyota Camry to victory lane Saturday night in the ARCA Menards Series Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway. The victory is Self’s second at the historic 2.5-mile superspeedway (2018) and the third straight for Venturini Motorsports.
