A Look Back: On February 10th, Self took home not only his fourth win in his last five races, but also the biggest win of his career when he took the No. 15 Sinclair Oil Toyota Camry to victory lane in the 2018 ARCA Racing Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway. The win marked Self’s second career ARS victory, and was his second win in a row in the series after he won the 2017 season finale at Kansas Speedway.

A Look Ahead: This Saturday, Self will take the wheel of the No. 55 Sinclair Oil Toyota Camry at the historic Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville. This will be Self’s first visit to the half-mile track which opened in 1904. Self enters the weekend leading the ARCA Racing Series Championship point standings.

Self on Nashville: “After getting to test at Nashville last week I’m excited to get back for the race. The track has a lot of character and racers always talk about how much they love to actually race there, so I’m looking forward to that. We had a decent test in the No. 55 Sinclair Oil Toyota Camry which should give us a good starting point on Saturday, but I know we have some work to do, too. We’re going to have to put a huge focus on the balance of our racecar and make sure we can save tires on the abrasive surface. Frank (Kimmel) has some experience at Nashville and Kevin Reed has been very successful there in the past, so I’m hoping to lean on both of them and work together with everyone at Venturini Motorsports to try and keep our momentum going.”
