Race Weekend Information

Date: Friday, October 16th

Event: Speediatrics 150 Presented by the NASCAR Foundation

Track: Kansas Speedway

Series: ARCA Menards Series

Watch It Live: FS1, 7:30pm CDT

Driver: Michael Self

Car: No. 25 Sinclair Oil Toyota Camry

Team: Venturini Motorsports

Crew Chief: Kevin Reed

A Look Back: Self ran inside the top-five for the majority of the day, but was caught up in an incident with just a few laps remaining on a late restart at Springfield. After making heavy contact with the concrete outside wall and another car, Self was unable to cross the finish line, and was credited with a ninth-place finish.

A Look Ahead: The ARCA Menards Series now heads to Kansas Speedway, where they’ll wrap up the 2020 season, and Self enters the race eight points out of the championship standings lead. Self has five previous starts at Kansas in the ARCA Menards Series, in those five starts he has one win, and four top-three finishes.

Self on Kansas: “This is always one of my favorite races of the year. The weather is usually great in Kansas City in October, and racing this track at night in the cool temperatures is a blast, because it’s so fast and generally multiple grooves open up that can be run. We aren’t where we wanted to be in points coming in to this race, but because of that we have nothing to lose. We’re going to give it everything we’ve got and try to get our Sinclair Oil Toyota out front at the finish.”
